Birthday Girl

Maisie had a great time at school today and was SO excited that she got to make her very own crown. She did not take it off for the rest of the day!

Easy Breezy

There's nothing better than shorts and a tank top when it's hot, hot, hot outside. Oliver picked out Maisie's outfit today and I have to say that I am enjoying the results. The tank top was a staple in Maisie's summer wardrobe that will transition well into fall with the simple addition of a cardigan. We literally pair it with everything... there's something so neutral about the nautical stripes and it never seems to clash. Today she wore it with her favorite strawberry shorts and was so happy! I'm curious to see if she'll want to wear the shorts in cooler weather... what a fun challenge that would be! I think they'd look cute with a pair of tights underneath. Stay tuned!!

Lazy Snoozin'

So, Maisie was a little out of sorts today and we didn't get to have a photo shoot. That is, until I went to let her know it was dinner time and found her curled up in the cozy chair in her room. I couldn't resist grabbing my camera and capturing the extreme cuteness! Maisie is wearing a plain pink t-shirt with her super fluffy purple tutu. We jazzed it up with funky star leggings and she couldn't have been more comfortable. Love her!

Lobsterrific!

Today was Maisie's second day of school and she was so proud of the outfit she picked out. It's so fitting that the color scheme is red, white and blue because we are feeling particularly patriotic today. Never forget...

Cookie Time!

So, I know that this blog is usually about the clothes that my kids are wearing but sometimes it's about the events too. Like when you get to eat chocolate chip cookies in the morning before you head to school on your first day.

Gray But Not Gloomy

 It was Grayson's first day of school today and he could not wait to wear the shirt that he commissioned for the big event. He loves his polos (with the collar popped of course) so he had to have "the girl from that dragon movie" on one which he (hilariously!) paired with gray shorts (you know, to match the gray shirt!!). Oh, and his favorite bumblebee shoes!! Check out his moves:
